Dr Platon can be used for a range of problematic and inflammatory skin concerns, including acne, breakouts, congestion, excess oil, redness, rosacea, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. We will carry out a thorough consultation to assess treatment suitability.
Dr Platon is a gentle, non-invasive treatment using cold plasma technology. There are no needles and no heat, making it a well-tolerated treatment for most patients. You may feel a mild sensation during treatment.
There is little to no downtime with Dr Platon. Some patients may experience temporary redness following treatment, but this should settle quickly.
This will depend on your skin and the concern being treated. A course of treatments may be recommended for ongoing or more complex concerns, while Dr Platon can also be incorporated into your existing treatment plan. We will discuss your recommended treatment plan during your consultation.
Dr Platon may be suitable for patients from 12 years of age, subject to consultation, suitability and appropriate consent. It can be used on the face and body, depending on the skin concern being treated.
